my homemade kombucha-rita

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO! There is nothing more relevant than a new episode of #thebeet with a tutorial on my homemade kombucha-rita! Yes, i said it ppl. Kombucha + tequila is my JAM.


I’m slowly getting more comfortable making these videos, so I hope you are enjoying them! Also, sometimes I say stupid things so there’s that. PS - life is too short, drink the dang marg. YOU DESERVE IT!



Serving size: 2 drinks


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 shots silver tequila

  • 1 cup kombucha of choice (I love GT’s)

  • 1 cup club soda

  • fresh lemon + lime

  • himalayan sea salt

  • ice


DIRECTIONS:

  • With your glass, add salt to the rim if desired. Add ice.

  • Measure out the tequila, kombucha and club soda and pour into a mixer or shaker bottle.

  • Stir thoroughly (if you don't have one) or lightly shake.

  • Squeeze 1/2 fresh lemon + 1/2 fresh lime and shake again.

  • Pour into glasses and top with another lime for garnish. Cheers!!
