chocolate chip tahini cookies



INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pasture-raised egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed

  • 1 serving collagen (optional)

  • 1/2 cup tahini

  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil

  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder

  • 2 tbsp almond flour

  • sea salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips or chocolate bar


DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together these ingredients - egg, tahini, vanilla, maple syrup, and coconut oil until well-combined. It will be nice and creamy!

  • Add in the cacao powder, almond flour, ground flax seed, collagen (optional), sea salt and baking soda. Mix together until smooth. Add in the chocolate chips then mix again.

  • Use a spoon or ice cream scoop and transfer dough to a parchment paper covered baking sheet. Once evenly spread out, top with one last pinch of sea salt and a few more chocolate chips (or topping of choice!).

  • Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
