almond butter + banana english muffins

Looking for a simple grab-and-go breakfast option for those busy mornings? I have been loving Mikey's products to help make that happen! Their grain-free english muffins have been a staple lately - I love taking the sweeter route on some days, or switching it up and going savory, pairing with some dairy-free cream cheese & smoked salmon. Yum!

Here is one of my favorites:

Prep time: 5 minutes

Serving Size: 1 muffin

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pair of grain-free English muffins from Mikey's (you can buy at Sprouts, or Whole Foods!)

  • 1/2 banana

  • Raw almond butter or peanut butter

  • Dash of cinnamon (optional)

  • Dash of nutmeg (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  • Place the frozen muffin in the microwave for 30 seconds, simply to get it soft so that it toasts easier.

  • Then place the muffin in the toaster until made to desired crunch!

  • Spread almond butter or peanut butter on top, along with sliced banana. Top with spices of your choice!

Super easy to make and great for when you're running out the door.
