2019 holiday gift guide

The holiday season is finally HERE! I am definitely excited but I can't believe that another year has gone by --- time has flown this year! The good news? There is still time to snag all of your favorite holiday gifts for your loved ones, close friends or family members. This is my first holiday gift guide so I'm totally open to feedback BUT these are some of my favorite things that might come in handy! A combination of all things fitness, food, lifestyle, beauty, etc. Happy shopping!

FITNESS

First and foremost is your shoes! For running purposes I recommend Asics or Brooks - they offer a lot of great support and are super comfortable! Never underestimate the value of a good running shoe! Other ones I love for daily strength or HIIT training are Adidas Ultraboosts or Nike Training. When it comes to headphones, I always love using my Apple Beats but also have had my eye on these Wireless Backbeat Fit headphones for travel!

For training itself & my favorite equipment, I'd recommend a few staples to have! First off, resistance bands - SUPER easy to travel with and always add an extra challenge. Gliders are next, for more stability and glute/hamstring work. A hard medicine ball and soft medicine ball are great for letting that extra stress out and you can't go wrong with your own TRX straps!

Don't forget that my 4-Week Bodyweight Challenge is a great gift too!! It's great for anyone looking to get back into fitness and start with the basics.

CLEAN BEAUTY & HOME

I cannot preach this enough! Ever since I started to do more research on beauty products and the harmful ingredients in them, the more I have transitioned all of my products over to non-toxic - I have a few left to go, but I feel so much better knowing that I am not harming myself in the long run. Try to transition even just 1 product a month - baby steps is all it takes! Here are some of my favorites:

Deodorant: Rooted Athlete

Concealer: Clove & Hallow

Dry Shampoo: ACURE + Moon Organics

Laundry Detergent: Molly's Suds

KITCHEN & FOOD

We all know I love the kitchen! You simply can't go wrong with a home-cooked meal. My #1 splurge item would be a good blender - I use mine for smoothies or matcha daily and it's great! A Vitamix is the absolute best investment you can make, but a Nutribullet does the trick too for a more affordable option. If you are looking to become more "green," I recommend glass straws, silicone reusable ziploc bags and a nice set of glass tupperware. I love saving the environment when I can! Another thing I love having is a set of mason jars to fill up with the superfoods I use the most frequently for quick access (chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc.) They sit right on my counter to make it easy to add them into recipes.

When it comes to some food items (or great stocking stuffers!) you can't go with with Wedderspoon Manuka Honey packets for a great immune boost when traveling, Four Sigmatic Hot Cacao for those cold winter nights, Vital Proteins collagen to add to your morning coffee, Balance Superfood Shots for your daily veggies (use code "healthandkellness50" for 50% off any flex order!), or Ora Organic Vanilla Chai Protein Powder (use code "healthandkellness" for 10% off!).

LIFESTYLE

Definitely a diffuser - I use mine all the time and it's such a great way to unwind! Don't forget to get some great essential oils too. I love my blue-light blocking glasses from Pixel Eyewear to give my eyes a break before bed (use code "healthandkellness" for $5 off your first order!). I also love using my white noise machine - once you start using it, I promise you will never go back! Lastly, I love using my Jade Roller first thing in the AM to help regulate lymphatic drainage and wake my skin up!

GOOD READS

For those book worms in the family (especially those interested in learning more about health) these might be worth trying out:

WELL! I would say that's a pretty dang good start. I hope this gives you some great gift ideas + potentially shares more about my life and the products I use!

Happy shopping & happy holidays!

Xoxo,

Kell
