FUDGE FUDGE FUDGE. Such a simple dessert, yet it is one that I don't personally think gets enough love. Growing up, I used to not be the biggest fudge fan because I honestly felt like I was eating a block of sugar (and it normally would make my stomach upset). However, now that I have found ways to incorporate healthy fats and proteins (or even sugars) into certain desserts, I enjoy them way more! This recipe is super simple and only requires five ingredients, check it out:
Serving Size: 16 pieces of fudge
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Freeze Time: 20-30 minutes
Total Time: 25-35 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup raw cacao nibs
1 cup crunchy peanut or almond butter (I actually did 1/2 peanut butter and 1/2 almond butter!)
1/4 cup hemp seeds
dash of Himalayan pink salt (optional)
8-10 drops of liquid stevia (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Melt coconut oil into a bowl.
Whisk in cocoa powder, raw cacao nibs, peanut butter until an even, liquid consistency.
Pour evenly into ice cube tray.
Sprinkle with salt and hemp seeds.
Store in freezer to freeze! Takes about 20-30 minutes to solidify.
I hope you enjoy!
